A dove -
What a wonderful creation,
A calm and friendly bird
Here to remind man
That peace can still live on earth.
Many see it as just an ordinary bird,
One you can feed in the park.
Children see it as a gentle bird,
One that comes right up close
To peck at seeds and crumbs.
I see the dove as a quiet bird,
A gentle, lovely symbol,
A bird that reminds man
That peace can still live on earth.
