Why do people hurt each other so?
Why not be gentle and kind to one another?
It hurts to lose someone whom you were close to -
a person who seemed almost a precious part of oneself.
it hurts to be played with.
Some people think that love is a game.
Many a person’s faith has been badly damaged
by some who loved to play games and make a joke of love.
They don't want to try again -
afraid that they'll be hurt as before.
God meant love to help a person, not hinder or hurt.
But too many people, play too many games,
with emotions that are harmful when used incorrectly.
Don't think of just yourself, when in love with another,
think of how they'll feel if you play games with them
or lead them on.
People have feelings and they can be hurt,
sometimes very badly, sometime irreparably.
So think of others and try not to hurt -
Try to help and heal.
That is a part of what love is for.
